Most of these are outdated. To give you an idea, PGP is now at version 7. You should not rely on any of these programs to provide you strong encryption. Instead, you can get the very good PGP freeware edition package.

Encryption Applications

Blowfish 1.0

This application uses the strong Blowfish encryption algorythm. This is a symetrical keys system allowing only owners of the key to decrypt the encrypted file.

Enigma 2.6.1 FAT

Another very cool encryption app. Simple to use and strong, very useful for those who wish to use strong encryption without having to learn complex encryption techniques.

CryptDisk 1.1.2d

Nice utility which encrypts a whole volume or disk.. useful to quickly encrypt a whole disk with important data.

PGP (Pretty Good Privacy)

MacPGP FAT v1.6.1

PGP uses private/public keys system allowing you to encrypt your messages using your private key and decrypt them using the public one.

Mac PGP Kit 1.7.1

Another version of PGP, this one is the full package with all related utilities.

PGP Phone 1.0b7

This cool app allows you to encrypt your phone conversations using the PGP algorythm.

RIPEM Mac

Encryption application using the RIPEM (Riordan's Internet Privaty-Enhanced Mail) which is used to send encrypted emails.
